Goals & Activities

The Main Aim of the Society is to help the poor and underprivileged community. To get started we have established following specific goals:

To fund the education of children, personally identified without bias, who demonstrate academic excellence and financial poverty.
To provide the technological tools to enable a world-class education.
To open and maintain a state of the art walk-in-clinic to provide free Physician Exams, Lab Tests and Medication.

Medical Facilities

Free medical check-up camp in village Ghanaur on February 17, 2010 where six doctors provided check up and medicine to almost 700 poor patients. Free follow up of patients was done and were given free medicine.

With the input of senior medical professionals, we selected a site near Panchkula, catering to the medical needs of many villagers and laborers working in brick kilns and as stone crushers. A walk-in clinic in Mubarikpur (Dera Bassi) was set up by renting clinic space for examination of patients and provide free medicine and lab tests. The clinic was opened on 16 May 2010. Approximately 400 patients were provided free check-up and medicine by six doctors on the opening day. Since then, we open the clinic every Sunday where 3 physicians provided services to approximately 180 patients each week. The number of patients has risen to approximately 300 at present.

Setup Eye Camp in the Clinic on 28 November, 2010 and provided Eye Checkup & Eye Glasses to approx 150 Patients. Regular camps are organized by inviting various specialized Doctors on Sunday for the benefit of patients.

On May 4th 2013 permanent clinic at Village Mubarikpur has been inaugurated and Society opens the clinic six days a week from Tuesday through Sunday. The society intends to set up multi walk-in-clinics and organize numerous medical camps that provide free physician exams, lab test and medications in future.

Provided tuition fee and other funds for Uttam Mittal who joined I.I.T. Delhi for B.Tech . His father has a small shop in the village of Mohindergarh District in Haryana. Other siblings also studying in school. No other source of income.Provided tuition fee and other funds for Ajay Kumar studying B.Tech in Thapar Engineering College, Patiala. He does not have a father and his mother works as a sweeper. Provide partial tuition fee to girls from small villages studying to earn a B.Ed degree from Jasdev Singh Sandhu Group of Institutes Patiala. Provide funds for two teachers for tutoring neglected/orphaned children living in Balsadan, a non-profit institution, in Panchkula, Hayrana. Since these tuitions the student's grades improved from 55% to 72%.

Provided tuition fee for Mukesh Kumar Singh, from Bihar for LLb degree from Rajiv Gandhi Law University Patiala. His father has a small piece of farm which was flooded and washed away all his income. Provided tuition fee for Shveta Verma who joined Masters in Technology in Thapar College, Patiala. Her father expired in January 2010, she is the eldest of three siblings with no source of income. Provided Funds for Varkha Jindal Studying in Govt. College, Nabha. Does not have father, mother runs a small shop locally. Studying to be future chartered accountant. Provide funds to needy and deserving students from small villages to get basic graduation degrees, in order to make them self reliant. The society intends to start its own Computer Centre at its permanent site at Village Mubarikpur.

Prospective students are being selected without bias, who demonstrate academic excellence and financial poverty. Criteria for scholarship grant and application for financial aid has been finalized and following members of the selection committee have been assigned to make final selection of the students :
